Respected Scholars! What is the Sunnah way of applying oil on the hair?

Answer
After reciting “بِسْمِ اللّٰہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ”, pour some oil in the left hand’s palm, then apply oil on the right eye’s eyebrow and then on the left eye’s eyebrow. After this, apply oil to the eyelashes of the right eye and then the eyelashes of the left eye. Now, apply oil onto the head.
When applying oil to the beard, start with the “soul patch”, i.e. the hair between the lower lip and the chin, then apply oil to the entire beard.
It is mentioned in Wasail al-Wusool:
وكان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم إذا ادهن.. صب في راحته اليسرى، فبدأ بحاجبيه، ثم عينيه، ثم رأسه
“When the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم applied oil, he would pour it into his left hand’s palm and then begin applying it to his eyebrows, then his eyes, and then his head.”

Sayyidah Aisha رضي الله عنها narrated:
“أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم كان إذا دهن لحيته بدأ بعنفقته”
“When the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم applied oil to his beard, he began with his ‘Anfaqah’ (soul patch, i.e. the hair between the lower lip and the chin).”
