QUESTION:
2 Rakat Namaz e Hadiya Waldain parhne ke bare me please rehnumai farmade. Kya ye thik hai? Tariqa please
ANSWER:
Just as the reward (Sawab) of any righteous deed can be conveyed to one’s deceased loved ones, similarly, reward may also be conveyed specifically by offering Nafl (voluntary) prayer. There is no prohibition regarding this in Shari‘ah (Islamic law). Rather, it is Mustahsan (commendable) and desirable.
The method is that you should offer these two rak‘ahs in the same manner as you normally perform Nafl (voluntary) prayers. The only difference is that while offering the prayer, you should also include the intention that whatever reward (Sawab) is attained from this prayer, may Allah عزوجل, through His mercy, convey it to your parents.
