What’s the ruling on reading Salah behind a Person whose recitation is not correct?

Answer

The individual who does not recite the Quran according to the rules of Tajweed i.e. does not differentiate the sound of each letter of the Arabic alphabet, cannot be made an imam of prayer because this kind of recitation gives a Fasid(wrong) meaning of the Quran or makes the word or a verse meaningless, and in this case the Salah is invalid. It is farz for every muslim to learn reading Quran with Tajweed, so that they can offer salah correctly.
