Is there any rule regarding not facing a particular direction during eating?

Answer

In Islamic Sharia, there is no command prohibiting eating while facing a particular direction. In Sharia, the etiquettes of eating have been described, and one should simply observe these.

General Etiquettes of Eating
1. Reciting بسم الله before starting to eat is Sunnah.
2. One should always eat and drink with the right hand.
3. One should pick up the morsel from the part of the dish directly in front of oneself.
