What’s the ruling regarding wearing a wig?

Answer

The ruling regarding wearing a wig, is that if the wig is from human hair then it is not permissible. However, if the wig is from any artificial thing or any other animal except the swine, then this is allowed.

Note: The wig can’t be permanently fixed to one’s head.
