[Q 182] Praying in Non-Muslim Community Center

Question

I am attending a work event at a community center and Temple.

The building is multi use and has a temple, community rooms and conference rooms for hire (my non-Muslim workplace has hired a room).

Is it permissable to pray salah in a room at this venue? (Not the temple area)

Answer

In the mentioned scenario, whereas that place is not part of the temple but a separate detached /building, there is no objection according to Shariah to offering prayers there.
