Question
If a person has fake teeth put in permanently and he dies do the fake teeth need to be removed?
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
الجواب بعون الملك الوهاب اللهم هداية الحق والصواب
Answer
If the artificial teeth of a corpse are fixed in such a way that they cannot be removed without tearing anything or hurting the corpse, then it is not permissible to remove such teeth. Rather, the ruling is that they should be left in place and buried with the deceased.
This is because it is not permissible to do anything with a Muslim corpse that would cause it pain or discomfort, even in the Noble Ahadith it has been mentioned, breaking the bone of the dead and causing it pain is equal to breaking its bone and causing it pain in its life.
