Guidance on Incomplete Namaz in Jammat

Question

Mufti sb I’ve got 1 question regarding Namaz in jammat When you are reading behind an imam and on the final part of Namaz and the imam says Salam and you haven’t finished reading yet what do you do?

Answer

In the asked case, if you have not yet completed your tashahhud till (عبدہ ورسولہ), and the Imam says Salaam, then it is necessary for you to complete your tashahhud till (عبدہ ورسولہ) and then say Salam.

And if you have completed tashahhud and are reciting Durood or Dua and the Imam says Salaam, then you should immediately say Salaam behind the Imam.
