Bathing Rules for Mutakif

Question

Can mutakif (someone who does aitikaf in Ramadan) take a bath to freshen up or for Jumma? Or ghusl is permissible only when it is wajib.

Answer

If the washroom is in the fina e masjid, then Mutakif brother can take bath even in case of ghusal not being farz. And if the washroom is not in fina e masjid, then only for Wajib ghusal he can go out of masjid.

Note: this detail is only for the brother, not for sisters, as sisters allowed to take Wajib ghusal only because their toilet area is not considered fina, even if it is attached to the room where she is in aitikaf.
