Ruling regarding cutting nails and hair during first 10 days of Dhul Hijjah

Question

What is the ruling for the person giving Qurbani (Udhiya) in cutting his hair or nails?

Answer

A person who is giving Qurbani, it is mustahab (rewardable) for that individual to not cut any hair on the body or nails from the 1st of Dhul Hijjah up to when his Qurbani is done. And this is also mustahab for the one who is not giving Qurbani rather Ulama say if he does not cut his hair or nails he will get the reward of Qurbani.

Remember If someone does cut hair or nails, that individual is not sinful. However If anyone has not cut hair or nails for last 40 days in this scenario that individual has to cut hair or nails.
