In nafli Qurbani, Can you add to the shares, The Prophet Peace Be Upon him and one of the Companions? Also can you add someone from the family that has passed away please?

Answer

Yes, you can include a share on behalf of the Beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and his Noble Companions. Similarly, you can give a share on behalf of any deceased person.

However, it is important to keep in mind that if your deceased relative had made a will (wasiyyah) to participate in the sacrifice, then the entire portion of meat from the share must be distributed among the needy (fuqaraa). You cannot consume any of it yourself. But if the deceased did not make such a will and you simply want to receive a portion from their sacrifice, then you are allowed to consume the meat yourself and share it with others.
